Services

The ISO 9000 family addresses various aspects of quality management and contains some of ISO’s best known standards. The standards provide guidance and tools for companies and organizations who want to ensure that their products and services consistently meet customer’s requirements, and that quality is consistently improved.

The ISO 14000 family of standards provides practical tools for companies and organizations of all kinds looking to manage their environmental responsibilities.

ISO 22000 is a Food Safety Management System that can be applied to any organization in the food chain, farm to fork. Becoming certified to ISO 22000 allows a company to show their customers that they have a food safety management system in place. This provides customer confidence in the product. This is becoming more and more important as customers demand safe food and food processors require that ingredients obtained from their suppliers to be safe.

ISO/IEC 27000:2018 provides the overview of information security management systems (ISMS). It also provides terms and definitions commonly used in the ISMS family of standards. This document is applicable to all types and sizes of organization (e.g. commercial enterprises, government agencies, not-for-profit organizations).

ISO 45001:2018 specifies requirements for an occupational health and safety (OH&S) management system, and gives guidance for its use, to enable organizations to provide safe and healthy workplaces by preventing work-related injury and ill health, as well as by proactively improving its OH&S performance.

Using energy efficiently helps organizations save money as well as helping to conserve resources and tackle climate change. ISO 50001 supports organizations in all sectors to use energy more efficiently, through the development of an energy management system (EnMS).

The Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) is an independent organization established in 2007 by UNEP, the United Nations Environment Program, and UNWTO, the United Nations World Tourism Organization, for promoting the increased knowledge, understanding and adoption of sustainable tourism practices.

The GSTC employs a worldwide network of members, representing a wide range of stakeholders in the tourism sector, leading international tour operators, government organizations, national tourism councils, local and international hospitality brands.

The GSTC has developed a set of standards, known also as GSTC criteria. The criteria represent the minimum requirements that any tourism business should reach for socially, economically, culturally and environmentally sustainable tourism in all the world:
• GSTC C-HTO: GSTC criteria for hotels and operators;
• GSTC CD: GSTC for destinations.

The GSTC Criteria are globally recognized; they should be adapted and expanded to the specific conditions of each region of the world and each industry sector. The GSTC Criteria are available on GSTC website.

They are organized around four main themes:
• demonstrate effective sustainable management;
• maximize social and economic benefits to the local community and minimize negative impacts;
• maximize benefits to cultural heritage and minimize negative impacts;
• maximize benefits to the environment and minimize negative impacts

The criteria are revised every 3-5 years. Third party audits are carried out to ensure that hotels, operators and destinations meet the requirements of the scheme. The audits are carried by an accredited certification body.

AND GROWING……..

NES Green in association with IBD, Brazil is providing Organic Certification in UAE, Saudi Arab, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan as per with IFOAM (international market) accreditation, ISO / IEC 17065 (European market-regulation CE 834/2007), Demeter (market). USDA / NOP (US market) and approved for use with the SISORG seal (Brazilian market), which makes your certificate globally accepted.

To meet certification requirements, NES Green has a team of inspectors who oversee farms and production processes to verify that the product is being grown and / or processed in accordance with organic and biodynamic production standards.

Certification requires a range of precautions such as soil detoxification for 1-3 years for areas in transition from chemical to organic agriculture, non-use of chemical and pesticide fertilizers, compliance with ecological aspects (maintenance of Permanent Preservation Areas for recomposition of riparian forests) and the preservation of native and spring species, respect for indigenous reserves and social norms based on international labor agreements, humane treatment of animals and the Fair Trade Ecosocial Protocol, involvement with projects social and environmental preservation.

The certification process is of fundamental importance in enabling organic agriculture, being an important tool in the process of developing ecological and social awareness. In this sense, IBD, aware of its responsibility as a social transformation agent, has been funding support for research projects in the agricultural field and for advising and monitoring smallholder projects.

Audit

With constant monitoring, NES Green works to promote the balance between economic activity and nature conservation. In the social and environmental certification protocols, major certified projects have reforestation and wildlife protection programs, such as the maintenance of native-essent nurseries for use in restoring riparian forests, ecological corridors and water resources protection, fire prevention in native vegetation areas and the creation of endangered animal species for later return to their habitat.

The certification has contributed to a process of profound transformations in the agricultural and industrial environment. Social responsibility actions are encouraged and companies are motivated to provide fair wages, decent working conditions, training and retraining, having a positive impact on raising workers’ quality of life.

Family Farming

Organic and socio-environmental agriculture has encouraged, among family farmers, the use of tree-based production systems, the so-called agroforestry systems, which have been presented as an alternative to ecological and energy sustainability.

In addition, the participation of small producers in the certification process is made possible, encouraging the creation of groups. Farmers are, admittedly in many cases, the maintainers of ecosystems, conserving and preserving forests, rivers, forests and wild animals.

Program for Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) Chain of Custody
Forests play a very crucial role in our life in terms of global environment, population and economy. The livelihood of millions of people depends on forests and they are a source of food, shelter and raw material for many products. It is thus important for us to adopt the practice of responsible and sustainable forest management to ensure long term viability of our forests.

What is PEFC ST 2002 Chain of Custody?
PEFC's Chain of Custody certification is a mechanism for tracking certified material from the forest to the final product to ensure that the wood, wood fibre or non-wood forest produce contained in the product or product line can be traced back to certified forests.

What is the goal of PEFC ST 2002 Chain of Custody?

The overall goal of the PEFC chain of custody is to provide customers of forest based products with accurate and verifiable information on the content of material originating in PEFC certified, sustainably managed forests, recycled material and controlled sources
